Creating Instagram grids with headers and footers in Linux -

In several events I have been tasked to design a poster or a banner for social media, in particular Instagram. Compared to other social media platforms, Instagram has a particular “style” of post: posts are predominantly square—and as such—the feed is optimized for squares. A common occurance is creating “grid posters”, that is, posting in such a way that when your profile is viewed, one giant image will appear instead of clearly separated images.

As the first post in my site, I’d thought I’d write a bit about the website itself. It has gone through several iterations, which I will shortly describe. Iteration 0 In 2021, I had the idea to make a website to showcase my work. But first, I compiled my portfolio onto a single SQLite database, and then compiled them into a single page using Python. That page consists of a header, and some tables detailing the contents of my portfolio.
